Sometimes you need to tweak the tuning of your guitar even after using an electronic tuner. The intonation of a guitar is never perfect because the frets have to accommodate all six strings where each string has its own characteristics. Besides, sometimes it's just not convenient to hook your guitar up to a tuner (like when you're on stage). There is a printable lesson below that will show you how to tune by ear.
